I know this has to be among the most frequently asked questions, but I’m having problems changing the width of the columns on my site. It’s not a standard joomla template.
A few months ago I figured out how to change the width for the right column. And now on a different site I want to change the width of the left column.
I remember it being a 2 step process, creating the whitespace and then actually extending the size of the column.
I got the whitespace by going into my templates HTML file. However, I can’t complete changing the width of the column. I don’t have a template.css or layout.css, but I looked through the css files that came with the template and couldn’t find anything that would do it.
